【泳ぎ】
パッと見ると普通のペンシルベイトに見えますが、腹側から見ると横幅の広さに驚かれるかもしれません。サーフボードの原理を応用し、幅広い腹面に設定しているので水受けが強く、オリジナルの200mm同様にこのサイズのルアーを扱ってるとは思えない軽い力で操作できることが最大の特徴です。
アクションは、ダイナミックなスケーティングからターンテーブルのようなその場でPOP音を出しながら誘ったり、軽快にドッグウォークをさせたりと多彩な動きが可能です。
また、内蔵した大玉スライドラトルにより、着水した瞬間から「カチコチカチコチ」と派手なラトル音を発生させ魚にアピールします。アクションしているときはもちろんですが、波や風で揺れるだけでも音が鳴るので、動きを止めているときも気が抜けません。

The highly buoyant, fat-bodied topwater series Captain Tokyo is now available in the long-awaited 120mm sizes. These three models have been specifically weighted for easy casting with spinning tackle, making them accessible to a wider range of anglers.
Action
At first glance, Captain Tokyo looks like a conventional pencil bait. However, one look at the underside reveals its exceptionally wide body profile. Inspired by the principles of a surfboard, the lure features a broad, flat belly that generates outstanding water resistance. As with the original 200mm model, this unique design allows the lure to be worked effortlessly with surprisingly light rod action despite its size.
Captain Tokyo delivers an impressive variety of topwater actions. It can perform wide, dynamic skating movements, create loud popping sounds while pivoting almost in place like a turntable, or produce crisp and responsive walk-the-dog action with ease.
To further increase its appeal, the lure is equipped with a large sliding rattle that produces a loud "clack-clack-clack"sound immediately upon splashdown, attracting fish from the very first moment it hits the water. The rattle continues to work not only during retrieves but also while the lure is paused. Even gentle movement caused by waves or wind is enough to activate the rattle, ensuring the lure remains effective even when sitting still.
